Mix Media Animation

SEM01. B E T A. PROJECT#03
P R O J E C T :: Mix Media Animation

Mix Media animation was my final assignment in the Film & Animation class. It was a mini animation presentation done by mixing 2 types of media; which are stop motion and digital media.

This was also a character design assignment where we had to design a character and create a mix-media mini animation based on that character.

After all the designs are done, I printed out all the characters, took pictures of them, scan, clean them up in Photoshop and edit them in Flash. Owh, the background images was fully done in Illustrator.

I had to admit, it was fun doing this assignment as it was my first attempt at stop motion animation.  However, the final product was not as good as I had hoped it would be. If I'm to be given a chance at this again, I would be happily spend nights and days doing it.

Sack Of Flour

SEM01. B E T A. PROJECT#02
P R O J E C T :: Sack Of Flour

Sack of Flour animation was also done using the traditional animation method.

This was my second assignment in the Film & Animation class. This time, we had to hand drawn a total of 120 pages of a flour sack; complete with it's unique characteristic and behavior.

Therefore, I designed my flour sack based on rodent characteristic. More precise, i drew it based on my Roborovski, named Mr. Kelpy. He's a cute fellow who's suspicious of everything.

Back in that time, I think my drawing hand actually did grew muscles from drawing those 120 pages.

The Bouncing Ball

SEM01. B E T A. PROJECT#01
P R O J E C T :: The Bouncing Ball

The Bouncing Ball animation was done using the traditional animation method, which also known as 'hand-drawn animation'.

This was my first assignment in the Film & Animation class. We had to hand drawn a total of 120 pages of a bouncing ball animation.

To tell the truth, that was the first time ever I abused my drawing hand so severely that it refused to pick up any pen or pencil afterwards.

Yup. I believes now my right hand has a mind on its own. *0*
